LifeSmarts, the Ultimate Consumer Challenge, is an educational program coordinated by the South Carolina Department of Consumer Affairs and the National Consumers League which tests consumer knowledge. This game show style competition allows all South Carolina teens in 9th through 12th grade to test their consumer/marketplace knowledge in a fun and rewarding way.The internet competition will begin September 18, 2006 through February 2, 2007. Scores will be tabulated and the six highest scoring teams will be invited to the State competition, which will be held in Columbia on March 2, 2007. The winning team will represent South Carolina at the national competition in Philadelphia, PA, April 21 through April 24, 2007.
