SCDCA v. Debt Relief of America, LP Docket No. 06-ALJ-30-0671-CC
On February 2, 2007, the Administrative Law Court (ALC) issued a Consent Order for this case. Highlights of the Order include requiring Debt Relief of America to: (1) cease soliciting South Carolina consumers, (2) issue refunds to consumers who entered into a contract with the business after December 1, 2005 and (3) pay a fine of three thousand dollars ($3,000) to the Department.
